Art of Atari
Poster Collection
Poster Collection
I designed print advertisements for Dynamite Entertainment’s Art of Atari Poster Collection, promoting a collector's item that celebrates the brand’s iconic visual legacy. My objective was to connect with Gen X enthusiasts who grew up with Atari while also resonating with a younger audience drawn to the look of classic arcade games.

My Approach
The ads were designed to be high-impact and on-brand, pairing Atari’s nostalgic appeal with its influence on today’s Vaporwave aesthetic - featuring period colors, perspective grids, classic 1970s–1980s rounded borders, a modern typeface (Harry) echoing Atari’s logo, and a Photoshop-composited background inspired by the otherworldly landscapes of box cover art. I enhanced the ad by layering halftone patterns and a subtle grunge texture to imitate vintage advertisements.
Reflections
This project was an opportunity to celebrate the artistry of Atari’s original box art painters and designers, channeling nostalgia through a tongue-in-cheek yet modern lens. The campaign commanded attention while reinforcing the brand’s timeless identity.
