Saved by a Whisker
Saved by a Whisker is an illustrated children’s book that benefits animal rescue organizations. The story, told from the perspective of a lost cat, explores the bond between children and their feline companions. I was responsible for designing the cover and interior elements that complemented the art and instantly appealed to young readers.

My Approach
I created custom title typography and selected a color palette suited to children’s fiction, carefully avoiding the cartoonish trap a lot of children's media can fall into.
Reflections
This project was meaningful as both a designer and a cat lover. It gave me the chance to bring a children’s story to life while supporting a cause close to my heart. Designing for a younger audience allowed me to explore different creative approaches, and I'd love to pursue more opportunities to design for children.
