For James Bond Origin, Volume 1, my directive was to design the cover and interior pages, paying tribute to the character’s legacy while adapting the typical Bond aesthetic to the wartime setting that shaped him.

My Approach
I integrated WWII-inspired elements - mission briefs, vintage maps, and archival textures - with clean typography, aligning with Dynamite’s established style for the license. These carefully crafted historical details immerse readers in the period, translating the tension of a James Bond story into a completely different era.
Reflections
This project offered the chance to explore one of literature’s most enduring characters at the start of his journey. By weaving WWII imagery into the design, I was able to enhance the storytelling and capture the era in Ian Fleming's voice.
